Some of Sweet Grass Dairy's products:
Thomasville Tomme: Raw grass-based cow's milk cheese. It is made in the style of Pyrenees Tomme, but with more buttery characteristics from the higher butterfat milk used. Thomasville Tomme is mellow and creamy. It melts well, making it great for anything from fondue to omelets.
Fresh Chevre: Pasteurized goat's milk cheese. Pure white in color with a soft, creamy texture, the flavor of Fresh Chevre shifts with the seasons. It is tangy with citrus notes in the late spring and summer when the goats feast on summer clover, cow peas, millet, and sunflowers. In the fall Fresh Chevre takes on an earthy flavor. Enjoy it on a homeade pizza with roasted red peppers. Or grill up some fresh Chevre stuffed jalapenos wrapped in bacon.
